Soap Box Derby (June)
A very special event to Culpeper is the Soap Box Derby. RE/MAX® Crossroads signed on as a sponsor because this is a family, business and community event designed especially for youth and encourages family adult-youth activities through the construction of gravity race cars. First organized in 1934 in Akron, Ohio, the Derby has expanded throughout America as a national youth sport competition and has fielded more than a million entrants over the years. Our "team" RE/MAX® racing car is a huge success for all involved in its creation, wheater or not a recipient of the checkered flag. We look forward to participating every year.
